Model Warning

Times are tough, many WAM producers run their business from shoot to shoot as there is not a huge profit to be made creating WAM movies. There are probably a couple of dozen or so producers in this field and probably less than half of them produce regularly. Potential market is not that large, so it’s important for us all to communicate so we do not re-produce similar material. This is good for the customers so they have a good choice of varied material, good for us so we do not waste effort and its good for models so you are not ‘Type Cast’.

From now on every model that wants to work with us will need to do a ‘full disclosure’ in other words, we need to know what WAM producers you have shot/shooting with 3 months prior and 3 months in advance of our planned shoot date. This includes ‘Customs’ as we get asked to do customs too!

While I do not blame models for going after as much work as they please (It’s a business like any other) I do have an issue with a model that shoots for a bunch of WAM producers and we have no idea. We are also out to make some money and if we are re-producing shoots with the exact same models, customers are going to buy one or the other. As producers we should have the right to ‘KNOW’ so we can make a solid judgment call on if we want to hire you or not, or at least change the type of shoot to avoid replication other producers work!

Models have a list of lousy producers, we have lists of lousy models and visa versa, but in order for this to be a fair exchange of services we all need to be up front and honest. In real terms what this means to models is that if you shoot with 3 WAM producers in a 4 week period, I for one will probably not hire you! If you shot with one WAM producer lets say 5 months ago, then that’s fine, all out shoot styles and release dates are different enough that we can deal with that.

I don’t know about the other producers but I am going to set a rule effective immediately that if a model does not tell me about competitive shoots I am going to boycott her for 12 months minimum, I will also share this information with my fellow producers. So, ladies all we are asking for is a fair deal and awareness, there are plenty of Fetish’s, plenty of Producers and plenty of models around so we can all be productive and profitable.

Ya know it’s almost my 53rd Birthday and it’s taken me this long to realize that 98% of people’s lives suck! Yet back when I first started making soft core porn in 1992 I had a terrible time finding models, most were not that pretty, most would only go topless, if that! Oh and the half day rate was huge!
